In the 1930 census for Harvey County KS and William Fry and an Edward Fry each the right age b. KS married in their own household with father b. NY/mother/Kansas have answered yes-WW to Veteran status. I also do not find a WWI Draft Registration Cards for a William or Edward Fry and those who were enlisted didn't file one. I did find one for thier father Charles Hermon Fry (signed as Herman)with nearest relative (wife) Blanche Lillian Fry. Richard Fry is 12 yrs old living in his parents household in the 1920 KS, Harvey County, Sedgwick Twsp. C. Herman and Lillie Fry. In the 1930 IL Cook County, Chicago census is a Richard W. Fry b. 1907 KS with father born in NY and mother born KS, listed NO to Veteran question. single is a mechanic for an adding machine company There is a Richard Fry thet died Aug 1944 in Cook County IL.
