In 1674 one of Francis Whittington's daughters who lived on the land next to William Bobbett married the same William Bobbett in Charles City County, Virginia which in 1703 became Prince Georges County, Virginia. Would anyone be related to or have information about this Whittington family that can give me more information about them? Francis Whittington was in Charles City County, Virgina just prior to 30 October 1673 to claim his land grant property. And Mr. Whittington is mentioned in William Bobbett's land grant that William Bobbett's land is adjoining Mr. Whittington's land. William Bobbett came from Suffolk County, England and in late 1673 [ship Martha's ship Captain Abraham Wheelocks's will Aug 1673 for Oct 1673 departure] left the port of Felixstowe, Suffolk, England for Virginia on the ship Martha that arrived in Virginia in early 1674.
