Pat - just from doing some very brief digging I see that Thomas Wall and Mary Keller married 26 Dec 1895 in Ouachita Co Arkansas. The marriage record said he was 28 and she was 19. THat would place her birth at about 1876. From the 1900 census I see that it shows her birth at March 1878, that she was married 4 years - which matches the marriage record, that she was born in MS, her father was born in MS and her mother was born in AL. Child Esther was born in April 1897 in Arkansas which also matches up with the marriage location and date. Next child was Harvey, who was born Nov 1899 in Louisiana.
I looked for a Mary Keller who was born between 1876 and 1878 and was surprised to find a Mary, born ca 1876 in Leflore Co MS with her father Harve,(aged 30, AL, GA, GA); Emma (aged 20 - second wife? or a mistake in age?, MS, AL, AL); Hulda, 12, AL, AL, AL; Lou, 8, MS, AL, MS; Maggie, 6, MS, AL, MS; Mary, 4, MS, AL, MS. This suggests to me that he was married twice, and the first child was by the first wife since her mother was born in Alabama. Further the fact that Mary Keller's first son was named Harvey really suggests that this is the right connection.
This Harvey appears to be the son of John H. Kellar and Catherine ----, with the siblings of Malvina, George, Esther or Elaina and Jefferson J.John was a blacksmith in 1860 in Jackson Co AL and in 1870 census in Sunflower Co MS he is a farmer (neighboring county to Leflore Co where Harve was in 1880) Further, a Harvey was shown as age 21 in the 1870 census in Sunflower Co MS, with wife Mary and daughter Mary aged 3. Certainly this could be your Harvey/Harve but it does show that he was born in GA.
Hoping this is of some help to you, this is not my line. Trish Elliott-Kashima, Lawrenceburg, TN
