Sir, I do not know if there was a relationship between John and Hardy Wall. The Hardy Wall I originally wrote about lived in the 1870's and later. The John Wall that died resided in Edgefield County before 1820, the approximate year that he died. If there was an earlier Hardy Wall that was John's father, I was/am totally unaware of those facts. Others have said that John Wall moved from Virginia to Edgefield but I cannot prove that. To the contrary, I have concentrated my research on the John Wall who lived in the "Welch Tract" on the Pee Dee River of South Carolina.
