Ida Lula Wall, born in Winn Parish, LA, died in San Augustine, TX

I am looking for any information about Ida Lula Norwood-Wall. Her parents were Thomas J Wall b. 23 Jan 1849 d. 30 Apr 1940 m. Mary Maneva Cole (Last name not sure, death certificate only states Mary Maneva). They are both buried in San Augustine, TX. What information that I am looking for is verification about Ida Lula Norwood being Cherokee Indian. My Father and Grandfather both say that she only spoke Cherokee or some type of Indian language.
