Presumed fact or fiction?

If Augusta B. Fothergill copied her source correctly, the will that she outlined in Peter Jones and Richard Jones Genealogies, pages 12-14, for Margaret Wood Jones Cocke who is 'presumed' to be the wife of Peter Jones and the daughter of Col. Abraham Wood of Fort Henry and which was dated August 12, 1718, gives absolutely no hint that Sarah & Thomas Vincent/Vinson might have been part of this Jones family at all! Mrs. Margaret Jones married Thomas Cocke of Malvern Hill as early as 1687 when she was noted on a deed with him; Thomas Cocke's will was probated in April 1697 in which he named Margaret and her grandson Peter Wynne. Briefly from what Fothergill abstracted, Mrs. Cocke left her estate to:
granddaughter Margaret wife of Edward Goodrich,
granddaughter Mary wife of John Worsham,
grandson Peter Wynne,
Major Joshua Wynne,
granddaughter Margaret Jones,
Mrs. Mary Randolph,
grandson Peter Jones, son of Abraham Jones, decd,
grandson Joshua Wynne,
grandsons Robert, William and Francis Wynne when of age,
Godson William, son of William Randolph
son Peter Jones
Execs: Peter Jones and William Randolph
Signed in presence of Thomas Buckner, Thomas Morris and William Jones
Proved in court May 4, 1719
