Hi! Has anyone, looking for or while researching, seen anything on Thomas "Roy" Vincent, b.1811 probably in St Louis, d. 1900 in Halfway, Mo- as in where did he come from. He married Elizabeth Pearman in 1836, Charles Co, Mo, they moved to Polk County by 1839 where he made a land entry in that year located at twp34, r21 in or near Bolivar from what I can tell. James Jump (Elizabeth's step-dad) and James Paerman (wife's bro?) make entries in the same section.
Roy and Elizabeth had 9 children I have alot of info on most. James, Mary, Columbus, William, America, John, Lucinda, Joseph, and Arena. My cousin Ken got alot of info from his mom Zelma Vincent Bridges and researched based on what she told him. He has E. Vincent for Roys' father- he was born in England and was in St Louis by 1811 when Roy was born. No Vincent is listed (that i can find)in St Louis area 1805 census or tax list. Just looking to see if I can find something on Roy's dad and family.
