James James birth (date & place unk)in 1838 married Sarah(Sally) Harrison
b1821 probably in Southampton Cnty,VA. 1840 census shows a James James
household with numerous males of various ages but only two females: a
child & another of the age grouping that would include Sarah. However,
the 1850 census shows Sarah living with three of her children along with
Sarah's siblings in the household of her mother,Catherine Harrison(apparently
a widow). Husband James James is not listed as being a member of the
household.Sarah & James James had four children:Nathaniel b1840,Benjamin
Allen b1843, Joshua Cummings b1846. There was another son James Edwin, my
GGF who so far as I know was born in 1846 also but I have never heard that
that Josh & James Edwin were twins. I have never found James James or James
edwin James in the same household(except for that reference in the 1840 census)
with Sarah Harrison James. Did James James die after 1846? If so, where?
Where is his will? What was the exact relationship of James Edwin
James to the other Jameses? What was his relationship to Sarah?
Any help at all will be greatly appreciated. Boice Burns
