BURNS IN HENRY CNTY,VA & ROCKINGHAM CNTY,NC

About 1789 CHARLES BURNS died in Henry Cnty,VA leaving six sons:
Alexander,Samuel,John,Charles Jr,Andrew & William. Adjoining Henry
County to the south is Rockingham Cnty,NC where there lived a John
Burns(a Rev War vet) born 1754 in Baltimore County, MD and who went to Middle TN
in 1807 and who eventually died there. Does anyone know if ther is
any connection between these two Burns families who lived on either
side of the VA/NC border?Thanks, Boice Burns
