Seeking descendants of Robert Burton Tucker Sr of the following:
"March 1766, GA., Read a Petition of Robert Burton Tucker setting forth that he was then an Inhabitant of New Providence but intended removing with family into this Providence in Order to settle and take up Lands for Cultivation. Therefore praying that he might have reserved for him for twelve months three hundred Acres of Land in the Parish of St. John originally surveyed for George Godfrey bounded at the time of the survey on all sides by....."
Robert B Tucker Sr was in Washington Co, GA when he won land there, and then later in Wilkes Co, GA.
If you descend from this Robert, please contact me. We are trying to identify this line, and are interested in DNA testing.
