Looking for information on the family of JOHN TUCKER.
John was born in 1831 in Alabama. He married SUSAN B. BOX about 1865.
In 1880, they were living with Susan's mother, Rowena Box in Cooke County, Texas. They had two daughters listed with them: (the census taker only listed their initials.)
F. C. Tucker born about 1866 in Texas
F. M. Tucker born about 1869 in Texas
WHAT are the daughters' names??
John is in the 1900 Census for Jack County, Texas. He living by himself and is listed as a widower. He is next door to his sister-in-law's family (Susan's sister -- Matilda Box McCoy Ewing family)
There is a headstone in the Cottonwood Cemetery in Jack County that reads:
John Tucker
5 Dec 1831
24 Feb 1906
When & where did his wife, Susan Box Tucker, die?
