Hello Kevin,
According to the Towne Genealogy published by E. E. Towne in 1901, Harmon Towne and his second wife Sarah Nickerson had four children. They were Arthur D. b. 19 Feb 1873; Edward Moses b. 1 Apr 1875 and who m. Flora E. Weston 10 June 1900; Samuel W. b. 11 June 1876; Henry H. b. 17 Aug 1879. This book also states Sarah Nickerson was living in 1900 so it is possible E. E. Towne obtained the information directly from Sarah.
The Towne Family Association data base does have further information on two sons, Edward and Samuel. I am not permitted to share any information regarding persons living but perhaps can put you in touch with a descendant of Harmon. Please contact me directly by e-mail.
