Thanks for the response! No, not to my knowledge though one writer has talked about Halifax, Nova Scotia for his Thorne branch. I have a William and a William Merritt Thorne in the Cumberland mix but have no knowledge of what may have happened before arrival in Cumberland Co, PA.
