Hi Roberta,

In "Annals of Warren(Maine)" p.431 Zipha and Deborah(Morton)Swift had a Joshua, b. Feb.1, 1806.This Joshua m. Mrs. Abigail Hanson.This couple "r. Rock."(Rockland?)

Zipha Swift was said to have b. at Foxboro in 1770.If Foxboro Massachusetts,then I believe Zipha is the same person as Zilpha Swift born to Jireh and Waitstill(Lyon)Swift in Jan.3,1772 in Sharon MA.(Foxboro was formed from Sharon)

If I'm correct, then this Swift family had arrived in America back in the 1600's.
