I am looking for information about Andrew SNIDER, b. abt 1828 in NY, and died 11 Jan 1907, near Genoa, Ottawa Co., OH. Andrew fought in the Civil War in Co. I, 21st Ohio Infantry. He is buried in Woodville Cemetery, Sandusky Co., OH.
Andrew was married to Elizabeth SNYDER? about 1861. Their children were Laurette, Rosa, Amanda, Martha, Andrew B., and Abba. Amanda married Eli AKENBERGER on 10 Jan 1883, in Ottawa Co., OH. She died 14 Nov 1941, in Bowling Green, Wood Co., OH.
I believe that Andrew's father and mother are listed on the 1860 census for Clay Twp., Ottawa Co., OH, as there is a listing for an Andrew SNIDER, b. 1797 in PA, with a wife M. SNIDER, b. abt. 1800 in PA.
