I am trying to find info on Daniel's parents. He was born in 1795 in Germantown,Stokes,NC. I am not sure how long he and his family lived in NC. He married I believe in Washington Co Indiana to Jane Spurgin daughter of Jesse Logan Spurgin and Lydia Brazelton bet 1818-1820. They move to Bartholomew Co IN where most of his children were born. His children are John b. 1820,Mary b. 1823, Samuel b. 1825, Sarah b.1826, Jesse 1828, Henry b. 1830 Lydia b.1832, Jacob 1835, Elizabeth 1837,Rebecca 1839, Daniel 1844 and William 1843. The last three were born in ILL. They then move to Andrew Co MO ,then on to Caldwell county MO where Daniel died in 1873 and Jane before 1870.
