My father says that my grandfather Harry Gene had a father named Roy Seifried, originally from Iona, MI, and his father was Franklin Seifried, also from Iona. However, he hasn't been able to get any further back than him, but he believes that they most certainly originated in Pennsylvania. Almost all the Seifrieds he has found have come from there. Someone else may have better info than that, but I hope that helps!
