Barbara... I don't think there is a link. The only person that I have identified that emigrated to the US in the 19th century is Ludwig Georg Alois Nepomuk Seyfried, born 1831 Simbach am Inn, Bavaria, died 1863 St. Louis. He was a pharmacist. He had a brother named Wilhelm, but he died in 1885 in Bavaria. Sorry - and good luck. CS
