Interesting that there is no "T" in your last name. By any chance was Johan's middle name George? How do you know they were from Bavaria? My Schwartz' were from Wuurtemberg and the father was John George and he had a son Johann George. Most of the boys had the first name of Johann as that was their baptismal name and their middle name was the given name. barb
