Seeking info on Charles Swartz b. about 1825 in Prussia. His wife Anna was also from Prussia. He first appeared in the US in MN about 1855 but was in PA in 1860. His first 2 children were born in MN and the rest in PA. The children later changed the surname spelling to Schwartz. Their children were; Caroline who married John F "Fred" Miller, Rossa who it appears died young, John F who married Dora Lar, William who married Julia Libberman, George, Mary who married Martin Becker, Anna, Sarah and Albert who married 1st Mary Brandon and 2nd Margaret Pinalis. I have no info on where in Prussia Chas and Anna came from, what year they entered the US, what port they came thru or when either of them died. Any info on this family will be greatly appreciated.
