Hi Sandra, I don't have any of the answers you're searchng for but maybe I can point you in the right direction. First, was your grandfather a naturalized citizen? You can request copies of his first and final papers if he became a naturalized citizen. If not, did he have a green card. Check into that too. Second, did your grandfather have a social security number? You can request a copy of the original application. That usually has the applications parents names, etc. Do you know when he can to the U.S.? You can check with your local library/genealogy library and ask if they have Ancestry.com for their patrons.
