I don't know, I have been researching my family line for quite some time and so far every one has been from New Mexico. Although, I noticed a lot or roadblocks happened when people spelled their names differently in those days or didn't know how to spell at all, which proved to be very difficult in tracking down their information. I also noticed that a lot of adoptions took place in that era(probably not all that much different from today), but it seems like when those adoptions took place, the child immediately changed their surname to the adopting parents name, which caused further confusion in completing my family tree. Also, when doing your research on Sanchez, be prepared for last name spelling like sanches or even santes. I noticed that a lot. I will put you on my list and whenever I come across new information on this family line, I will let you know.
