I have a huge scrapbook that belonged to the JOHN D RIDDELL family. It is mainly comprised of his military career. USAF
He was stationed in many places. Most articles, etc. seem to be in regards to Lockbourne Airbase, Ohio.
Dates range from the late 1940's to at least 1960.
Tons and tons of USAF info.
Paperwork states his home of record to be Utica, NY
While stationed in Alaska ( Oct of 1949 ) his wife lived in Ayers, MA
I believe his wife ( I have not seen her name listed anywhere ) kept this scrapbook. She was very proud of her husband and others who served in the USAF. She clipped article after article from the newspaper and pasted them in the scrapbook.
I must admit all the military bases and info are things I must re-read. USAF details are 'new' for me.
Anyone know of this family?
