I have some information on Pressly family members who settled in Ninety Six District (Now Greenwood, McCormick, and Abbeville counties) in the 1760's and early 1770's. This family came from Ireland and have the same Christian names as the Pressly family that settled in Williamsburg County in 1733 or 1734. This last family came over on the Ship Good Intent, (I think). Given the spelling of Pressly and numerous similar Christian names, there may be some relationship among these families back in Ireland.
