My grandfa was abt 17yoa orphaned abt 1896 with 6 brothers/sisters, and he was taken in by a family, possibly Harrellson, in Lincolnton NC, Lincoln Co. John Edward Pressley, b.abt 1880, d. 1937 Ms. Lived in NC,Atlanta Ga, Harriman Tn, also briefly in Galveston Tx. Someone out there has a grandpa or grandma who was orphaned and raised by other folks. Youngest girl was two, ended up with adoptive family in Altha Fl, no memory of childhood family. We are searching for the identity of John Edward Pressley's parents, and possibly a link to any one his siblings, via their grandchildren, or great grands. He was mechanically inclined, learned from his own unk father. Thanks for any link info. Nita Pressley
