Looking for information on a Presley surname, daughter who married a Slaughter. Looking for my gt gt grandfather, Presley Franklin Slaughter, born June 20, 1815 KY..died Dec. 1898 Bonham,Texas, father and mother names. It has been mention that Presley was a family surname before it was used as a first name, in order words, someone with the last name of Presley married into Slaughter or related family, and used Presley as first name.
