I had a “senior moment.” I realized after I hit the “Post Message” button last night that I had noted the “aforementioned Husband Edward Kimmel” without actually having mentioned him before. Husband Edward Kimmel (1882-1968) was one of at least seven children born to Manning and Sibbie Kimmel. A US Naval Academy graduate (1904), he rose to Rear Admiral and was commander of the US Pacific Fleet when the Japanese attacked on 7 December 1941.Typing late at night, I'm sure I made other mistakes as well, for which I apologize.
