Karen, We may be relatives. My great grand dad was James Alexander Pirtle. He was born in Rockingham? NC 1-9-1816, died Bradley Co Ark 4-9-96, buried in Gravel Ridge Cemetary. One of his sons was Thomas Ira Pirtle b.Macon Co, TN 1844, d. Archer Co, TX 1928. TIP had a number of siblings in and around Bradley Co. so it is likely that we are related. If so there is a lot of info on the clan. Jerry Bailey
