Hi searching for information on the Pyrtle's of Stokes,NC. James L. Pyrtle born about 1840 VA shown up in the 1870,1880, 1900,1910, 1920 Census of STokes,NC with wife Martha born 1837 with the following children: William, Elizabeth,Jinnie,Mary,John Thomas Pyrtle married Jennie Bell Keaton, Louisa V. Pyrtle. Would appreciate any information on this family. Thanks.
