I am researching my husband's gggrandfather, Andrew Pierson (Anders Pehrsson or Persson)born about 1840 in Sweden. He appears to have married Elizabeth (Betsy) Larson, also born about 1840 and likely born in Sweden. They lived in Bureau County, IL and both died there about 1880. Andrew is said to have been in the Civil War. They had several daughters, one of which was Hannah Mathilda, born 1870 and married to John/Johannes Alfred Swanson/Svenson, born 1861 in Bondstorp, Sweden. Their daughter, Emma Mae was married to my husband's grandfather, Franz Haglund.

I am stuck on the Piersons--can't quite confirm the info or trace any further back. Any info will be greatly appreciated.
