Hi All,
I have been looking for information on a Mary Ann PIERCE (or PEARCE) who was born 13 April 1813 in France (this according to census records), she died 5 December 1885 in Pike Township, Stark County, Ohio (this according to her death record, which also says she was a grocer and was born in Germany, but that info belongs to her husband).
She married her husband George WALKER 18 March 1835 in Stark County, Ohio and had the following children:
Clarissa Elizabeth, born 28 Dec 1835, died 20 Apr 1923; married Henry WILHELM
Mary Ann, born 20 Feb 1838, died 24 Aug 1928; married John C. FRAILEY
George Jr., born 18 Feb 1842, died 29 Dec 1917; married Elizabeth CABLE
Rosanna (or Rose Ann or Roseanna), born 18 Jan 1845, died 29 Dec 1943; married Franklin MCKINNEY
Jacob, born about 1847, died between 1860-1870 (I know nothing about him)
Anna, born 29 Jan 1850, died 1 Mar 1932; married Francis YARGER
Henrietta E., born 12 Feb 1852, died 5 Aug 1927; married John William CARNES
Now, all the children were born in Pike Township, Stark County, Ohio and they all married and died there. I have information on all their marriages and children, specifically Clarissa who is my great-great grandmother.
What I am mainly interested in is trying to find ANYTHING on Mary Ann (Pierce) Walker's parents and if possible George Walker Sr.'s parents. George was born 4 Oct 1805 in Germany (or so his census records say, died 19 Sep 1895. I have his death record which gave me his date of birth but nothing about his parents. Any information on their parents would be greatly appreciated AND if you are in some way related to any of George and Mary's children feel free to e-mail me at jknancy99@sbcglobal.net as I would love to trade information on them.
