Do you know of any males who have the Pearce surname that are related to you? You might check out www.piercedna.com
There are quite a few Pie/Pearce's who have tested, and they post a copy of their genealogy on the web site. If you know a male Pearce that is related, you could get him to test and compare yours to the others who have already tested. My genealogy is listed as DD. Almost everyone who ended up in Missouri, Arkansas, etc. came through Tennessee.
