Looking for info. regarding the family and ancestry of JOHN PEARCE, b. unk. - GA/m. 09 Nov 1843 - Washington Co., GA/d. bef. 13 Nov 1850 - Washington Co., GA/bur. unk. - Pierce Fam. Cem, Washington Co., GA. Wife was MARTHA COX, b. 1820 - Washington Co., GA/d. 1860 (on or aft. 17 Jul) - Washington Co., GA/bur. unk. - Pierce Fam. Cem., Washington Co., GA.
Had three sons: WILLIAM LEE, JOHN, and AUGUSTUS PEARCE. John is the only son to have left descendants and changed his surname to PIERCE.
May have been related to an ABRAM PEARCE who lived in the same area with a wife SARAH, son ABRAHAM, and a MARTHA. Abram also changed his surname to PIERCE.
JOHN PIERCE is my GG-Grandfather. Any help is appreciated.
