Hi there all Pearces.
I am trying to establish a data base of the Pearces who emmigrated to South Africa from England in the 1840's.
Specifically looking for info on David Pearce(born 1823 and died in 1872) who came out on the good ship Tory on the 18th Sept 1849 with his wife Charlotte (nee Johnson) and two children. I have details of the five children born here in South Africa , but nothing about him.
