If you are still looking, I have a bit of information on Alexander Paquette because he was a Civil War soldier from Fairfield, ME (Pvt., Maine 9th Infantry--Company C) and--probably--from Augusta (Maine 1st SharpShooters--Company C and Maine 20th--Company C). He applied for an invalid pension and, at the time of the 1890 Vets Schedule, was in Togus (Augusta, ME) with rheumatism. He was born c. 1840 in Canada. Flora (Philamon) Bushey (etc.) was from Waterville.

If you have learned anything about his background and/or children, I'd love to know. I'm working on Fairfield soldiers in the Civil War.
