Paquette Family Genealogy Forum

I am making progress with the Taillon family history, but they never knew much about Anne Paquette. I now know that there were 3 children born from this relationship. Jeanette (1940?) Roger(1942) and Delma(1944). All 3 children were born around Ottawa. Shortly after having children, Anne appeared to have a total breakdown, so she was instituionalized in Smiths Falls, Ont. Rene decided not to raise the kids on his own, so I am told that Jeanette was raised by Anne's parents. Roger and Delma were raised in Orleans, Ont by Cleroux foster family. I really know nothing about the Paquette side. Rene was a carpenter, but did work for the city of Toronto. Rene Joseph Taillon was born Feb 14,1913 and he died of a heart attck in 1971 or 72 at age 58. I am told that most of the family is buried at the Holy Cross Catholic cemetary in Richmond Hill,Ont. It is unclear where Anne would be buried? I have no information about who her parents were. No one knows much about Jeanette, she seems to be the forgotten one? I have a feeling she did not keep in touch with her brothers, therefore she does not know who I am. I am Delma's daughter from his first marriage, in 1966. I am just trying to trace my roots. Jeanettes mom Anne lived longer than Rene, but i have no dates. Perhaps the Paquette side looked after the arrangements or maybe it was town of Smiths Falls? Does anyone know where I might find the information to fill in my blanks about Anne or Jeanette? From your experience, did Jeanette keep the Taillon name or could it have been switched to paquette?
Thank you
