Looking for the George Paquette and Ethel Gladwell(Herbert) family. George and Ethel were married 22 May 1911 in St Gregory Catholic Church in Ontario County, Ontario. George was from Whitby, age 20, a mechanic, his parents were Isaac Paquette and Mary Chausse(not clear). Isaac was a lineman.
It says on the marriage certificate that Ethel's father was a law clerk named George Gladwell and her mother was Florence Gladwell. This I believe was not quite right....
Ethel was 19 and born in London, England. She mainly lived in Toronto at the time of her marriage.
Ethel had a younger sister Florence born I believe in December 1899 also in London England. Florence married James William Ball in 1917 in Hespeler, Ontario. Ethel Paquette signed the marriage certificate as a witness, her address was given as Toronto.
This (Florence's) marriage certificate said her parents were George Gladwell and Florence Elizabeth Herbert.
Florence and Ethel had at least 2 other sisters living in England. Winifred and Maud.
I'ld like to contact the family of George and Ethel Paquette to sort out a few family questions.
