Ida Paquette m. Charles Fournier, 1907

Okay. After months of trying, I finally laid hands on a copy of the marriage license of Ida PAQUETTE and Charles FOURNIER who were married on 6 Mar 1907 in Woonsocket, RI. By 1910, they were back in Maine where Charles was born and raised.

The license says Ida's father was Elias PAQUETTE and her mother was Jennie, maiden name not on record. Someone who has seen the actual Church records says her father was Elie PAQUETTE and her mother Jennie TREMBLAY.

The license says Ida was born in Michigan and her surviving daughter believes that to be true. However, the census of 1910, 1920 and 1930 all list her birthplace as Connecticut.

Her father was born in Maine or Canada, her mother in England, Canada or Connecticut.

I swear, I believe she did this just to drive her granddaugher-in-law nuts someday and she succeeded royally!

Does anybody know this family? I would appreciate even educated guesses. I have searched census records of Rhode Island, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Maine and I cannot find her parents in any of them.
