The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa Thursday, January 30, 1908 JOHANNA G. JOHNSON was born in Sweden, June 23, 1827. She was married in the old country in 1850, to C.J. LARSON. She came to Chariton in 1868, and has since made this place her home. Her husband died in the year of 1885. They were the parents of nine children, five of whom are living. They are, O.H. LARSON, of Kansas; J.O., of California; D.A., of Canada; G.N., of Lincoln Township, and MRS. IDA PALMQUIST, of Stanton. She had been making her home with her daughter at Stanton since last October. She had not been as well as usual for a few days, but nothing serious was considered. She was found dead in her bed, Saturday morning, heart trouble supposed to have been the cause of her death. The remains were brought her Monday evening, and funeral services held in the Mission Church, of which she had been a faithful member for 28 years, Rev.
