Would like to make contact with any decendent of Sven Larsson and Helena Nilsdotter, b. 1775. They were married 1794 and lived at the Pilabo farm in Norra Solberga, Sweden.
Their children were Jons, Christina, Johannes, Katarina, Gustaf, Per and Anders; all born between 1800 and 1816. They all used the name Palmquist.
Jons (my gg Grandfather) married Maria Christina Svensdotter. After his death in 1854, Maria and all of her children emmigrated to the U S - first to Moline, IL and later to Oakland NE.
Katarina married Pehr Nordell and emigrated to the U S. When they retired, they returned to Sweden, but I believe their children remained in the U S.
Gustaf was a missionary to Swedish-speaking people in the U S and returned to Sweden to Pastor a Baptist church in Stockholm.
To my knowledge, the other children of Sven and Helena remained in Sweden. Anders died in childhood.
I have more detailed information to share if these names ring any bells.
