I am looking for any further information about my Gr. Gr. Grandparents. I know Peter was born in Ireland (have been told Co. Cork, but not sure)in approximately 1843 - 1845. He came to America around 1850. I would love to know who his parents were if anyone knows. His wife Ann O'Neil was born in Ireland (? Co. Cork) around 1849 (I cannot find any marriage records for them so I have no idea what her maiden name was). They had 12 children total; 9 living as of the 1900 census: Daniel (born 1867), Frank (born 1870), John (born 1873), Peter Jr. (born 1878), Margaret (born 1880), William (born 1884), Sarah (born 1886), Joseph (born 1888), and Walter (born 1891). They lived in Clayton, Wisconsin (Crawford County) from at least 1880, but I could not find any other information about them prior to that census in the Clayton, WI area. Several of them moved on to Gays Mills, WI around 1900-1910 (my Gr. Grandfather Daniel for one). I listed other O'Neil spellings in my querry because that is how I found the name listed on the 1880 census and the 1900 census, but to my knowledge the O'Neil spelling is the correct one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
