I am looking for a female O'Neal/O’Neil that married a William McGee/McGhee/McGehee in NC about 1781 - probably in the Mecklenburg/Anson counties area. This unknown female passed away between 1800 and 1810 in either NC or Montgomery County, TN as William received a land grant and moved his family there about 1803. Known children were: Mary, William Jr, and Elijah. William remarried to a Rebecca Satterfield Downs about 1810 and moved to Illinois. He was a Rev War Pensioner, but no children or family were listed on the application.
