St. Charles (Illinois) Chronicle, 28 April 1899:
Mrs. James O'Neil
Mrs. Anna Frances Cassidy O'Neil, aged 51 years, died at her home in Austin Tuesday, April 25th. Deceased was the daughter of Mrs. Barney Cassidy and a sister of Edward and Bernard Cassidy of this city.
Mrs. O'Neil was born in Ireland April 1848 and came to St. Charles a year later. She was married to James O'Neil July 2, 1871. She was the mother of eight children, who, with the husband, survive.
The funeral was held at the Catholic church in Austin yesterday at 9 a.m. The burial was at Calvary.
Ed and Bernard Cassidy went from here to attend the funeral.
