I am interested in finding out more about Patrick O'Neil who on the 1881 UK census was living with his cousin John KENNY and his wife Winnifred at 3 Willows Lane, Accrington, Lancashire. He was 22y and employed as a laborer in an iron foundry. Patrick is recorded as cousin to head of household. I am trying to find out if he is cousin to John or Winnifred and to learn more about the O'Neil family. I believe I have Patrick on the 1861 UK census living in Bolton at 47 Back Charles Street as the youngest member of his family. Family info: Patrick O'Neil, 50y, head, born Ireland; Ellen, wife, 35y, born Ireland; John, son, 14y, born Ireland; Catherine, dau, 12y, born Ireland; Mary Ann, dau, 9y, born Ireland; Eliza, dau, 6y, born Preston, Lancs; Thomas, son, 3y, born Preston; Patrick, son 1y, born Preston. In 1891, I believe Patrick, 31y, a machine moulder, was married and living at 5 James Court, Accrington, Lancs with wife Margaret, 29y, born Chorley, Lancs; dau Mary A., 8y, born Accrington; son Patrick, 6y, born Blackburn; son Thomas, 2y, born Oswaldtwistle and dau Margaret, 1y, born Accrington. Do any of these families ring a bell with anyone? Hoping to make a connection, Michele in USA Notify Administrator about this message?
