Cora was born abt. 1801 in Washington Co., MD, and died bef. 1874. She married Abraham D. Wotring, b. 27 Oct. 1824 in Aurora, Preston Co., VA, and d. 13 June 1891 in Winchester, Frederick Co., VA. Cora and Abraham married 8 Nov. 1825 in Frederick Co., VA.
According to some books, and numerous family trees, Cora is listed as being the daughter of a John Felton and a Mary (somtimes listed with the middle name Ellen) McHenry, daughter of a Henry McHenry and a Joanna Ogle (daughter of a Benjamin Ogle and Rebecca Brown(er), who was a direct descendant of Robert Ogle and Maud Grey).
I'm trying to find proof to verify this bloodline for my ancestor. Any help is appreciated.
