Northfield (MN) News September 18, 1909 Mrs. Mary J. Dunlap Succumbs to death while visiting brother Mrs. Mary Jane Dunlap died Friday morning at 4:30 at the home of her brother, Frank Evans, in Fergus Falls, MN. Mrs. Dunlap was there visiting her brother there for 2 weeks. Deceased, who since the breaking up of her home in Northfield, MN had been making her home with her daughter, Mrs. Frank Revier. A short time ago she went to Fergus Falls to pay a visit to her brother and it was while there that she was stricken. Deceased is the widow of Dan Dunlap and has been living in Northfield, MN about 20 years. She was born in Minerva, MY about 57 years ago. She is survived by 3 children, Morris of Mpls. MN; E.F. of Curry, MN; and Mrs. Frank Revier of this city. At this writing, no arrangements for the funeral have been made, Interment will be made in Mpls. MN. Northfield (MN) News September 25, 1909 Interred in Mpls. Funeral for Mrs. Mary J. Dunlap Held Monday in Lakewood Cemetary. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Revier, and E.F. Dunlap returned to Northfield Monday evening from Mpls. where they attended the funeral services of Mrs. Mary J. Dunlap, whose death was mentioned in last weeks News. Funeral services were held Saturday at Fergus Falls, where she died, and the remains were then taken to Mpls. for interment. Other services were held at the home of her brother, Richard Evans, in Mpls. Interment was made at Lakewood Cemetary, where a short burial service was read. The pallbearers were her brothers Norman Evans of Owatonna, MN; A. Evans of Westbrook; Frank Evans of Fergus Falls, and Walter Evans of Dover, and her 2 sons, Ed F. and Morris Dunlap.
