Hello,
I am looking for more information about my 3rd Great-Grandmother, Lucinda (Sina) Turner. She married William C. Williams in 1874 (son of David W. Williams, son of David Williams that captured Major Andre).
Here is more information about Lucinda:
b. abt. 1842 in Ny
d. 1902 in Michigan
Her name is spelled "Sina" in both census records and her sons marriage certificate. But it is also shown as "Lucinda" in the later on in census info and it can be assumed it is the same wife of William.
William and Sina had two children:
1. Josephine Williams (Nethaway) b. 1874
2. David Campbell Williams b. 1879 (any info on this David after 1930 would be great. He left a letter in Michigan dated July 1942, but I cannot locate his death record anywhere). He married Sophia B. Wagner in 1911.
I have various census records that have this family in Schoharie New York & then later David C. Williams is in Michigan.
I would like to know who Lucinda's parents were or any helpful information about her. :)
I do see online that one of Josephine's descendants has posted a very similar message to my own, but it is archived from 1998! I have no clue how to contact this person. :(
