I am looking for any descendants of John and Harriett Adams who emigrated from Cowes, Isle of Wight, England to New Jersey in 1890. John worked as a cook for George Jay Gould.
Their children were,
Florence Beatrice Adams b.1884, Exbury, Hampshire, England who married Charles Marian about 1918. No known children.
William George Adams b 1886, Cowes, England who married Marie Swenson about 1906 in New Jersey. They had at least 2 children, William b.1908 and Marjorie b.1920. Marjorie married a ? Thomas and had 2 sons, Stephen and Charles.
Hilda Grace Adams b.1888, Cowes, England who married William James Douglas in 1910 in Lakewood, New Jersey. They had at least 3 children, Elizabeth b.1911, Florence b.1913 and William b.1925. They lived in Allegheny, Pennsyvania after their marriage.
Lillian Constance Adams b.1891, Catskill Mountain, New York who married Frederick Theobald Soutwick about 1913.
They had at least 1 child, Gloria May Southwick b.1925 who was Gloria Orr with a son Jerry in 1950 in her fathers obituary and Gloria Gordon with 2 children in 1976 in her mothers obituary so probably married twice.
Elsie M Adams b.1893, d.1905 Lakewood, New Jersey.
George Henry Adams b.1897, d.1921 Lakewood, New Jersey. No children.
