We are looking for the descendants of Wm. Rudolph Neumann, born April 15, 1853, in Marienburg, West Prussia, Germany, to Adolph Otto Neumann and Catherina Welk.
Rudolph married Amelia Rate (Ratc) (nee Roultz) on 22 January 1893, at the Luthern Church, Hoag, Nebraska. Amelia's parents were August Rate (Ratc) and Willnemina Lrufield (Frufield). Amelia was 25 when shed married.

Rudolph Neumann's brothers also living in Gage County were: August Neumann, b. 1848 and Herman Neumann, b. 1855. He also had two more brothers back in Marienburg: Adolph and John Neumann.
Note - on Herman Neumann's marriage record with Mary Samletzi, his father was Otto Neumann and his mother was Katharina Doknlski (Doknizki). Since, Herman was born two years later, this could be a second marriage for the Neumann brother's father.
Reinholt Neumann's daughter, Sandra, posted a query called, " Neumanns in Nebraska, back in 1999." We would really like to get in contact with her, or her family, so we could learn more about Rudolph's family. In her posting she said there were some Neumann sisters that also came to America.
We descend from August Neumann and have made contact with Herman Neuman's descendants. We have photos, marriage records and other documents that we can share.
It would be great to fill in some more of our Neumann history.
