I am seeking information about this family prior to their immigration to America in 1884. They are believed to have been born in the State of Brandenburg in Prussia. Christian was born 4 July 1854, son of Wilhelm Neumann and Christine Ernestine Binger. Christian and his wife, Anna, came to Michigan and homesteaded in Wayne County. Anna was the daughter of Carl Granser and Louisa Lewald.She was born 1 Nov 1853. It is thought that both sets of parents may have perished in Germany, having died from a cholera epidemic.
